Release date for Lento - Icon is scheduled for April, 1st 2011.
And yes, it is not a joke for April fools' day..
Preorders and free album download will start this week on http://www.denovali.com/lento
The album has taken shape after two intense years of touring Europe in which the band started to develop a more chaotic and restructured songwriting, having hard rehearsals among the gigs whilst touring and going deeper after the tour came to an end.
About one year of isolation in their home based studio, focusing on new songs.
Matteo Spinazzè (Zu/Original Silence/Fm Einheit) has led the drum tracking,
while Lorenzo Stecconi (Lento/Ufomammut/Lloyd Turner) has taken care of guitars/basses and final mixing flow at his Locomotore Recording Studio in Rome (IT).
James Plotkin has gone for mastering process in Philadelphia (US).
Final result are 10 tracks for a total running time of 37 minutes, in which the band explores a new range of emotions and feelings,
a very deep and dark universe always brought by their usual postcore fury.
Band’s impact is well recognized as one of the most overwhelming and mind-blowing, and the song structures have been particularly developed to achieve this.
The album shall be released by German Denovali Records (Celeste, Fall of Efrafa among others) on April, 1st, 2011.
